FAQ on participating in the workshop.
🔹 Who is this workshop suitable for?
The workshop is suitable for both beginners and those with previous experience. All you need is an interest and a desire to create something with your own hands!
🔹 How long does the workshop last?
The workshop lasts up to 2 hours.
🔹 Do I definitely need to bring anything with me?
If you wish, you can bring your own piece of furniture (e.g. a chair, a small table), but by agreement you can also choose an item to practice with in our workshop. We also recommend that you bring work clothes and gloves.
🔹 What does the participation fee include?
The participation fee (35€/person) includes instruction and use of tools, as well as safe storage if the work is left unfinished.
🔹 Can I leave my furniture in the workshop?
Yes, free for 7 days, after that a storage fee of €5/day will be added.
Work process and techniques
🔹 What skills will I learn?
The workshop focuses on simpler furniture renovation techniques such as sanding, painting, staining, using waxes and oils, and making minor repairs if necessary.
🔹 Can I complete my entire item during the workshop?
This depends on the condition of the item and the chosen work methods. Simple renovations can be completed in two hours, but more complex projects may require multiple workshops.
🔹 Can I use my own colors and materials?
Yes, if you have a special shade or finish you want to use, you can bring it with you. Basic materials and tools are available on site.
Booking and payment
🔹 Do I need to register in advance to participate?
Yes, the number of places is limited, so we ask that you register in advance.
🔹 What happens if I can't participate?
Please let us know at least 2 days in advance so that we can offer the spot to someone else.
🔹 How is payment made?
You can pay in cash or by invoice.
